“Nigeria’s Untapped Wealth” – Aganga, Ozako, Silva, others for BOBTV 2012

All is now in place for the BOBTV Honours List Awards scheduled to hold in Abuja next week.

The list of recipients this year includes veteran actress and director, Joke Silva, Executive Producer of African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), Peace Fiberesima and production designer, Pat Nebo.

The 2012 edition is tagged “The Creative Industries: Nigeria’s Untapped Wealth” and has an impressive list of lead speakers booked. They include entertainment lawyer, Efere Ozako, the Minister of Trade and Industry Dr Olusegun Aganga, MD, Infosoft, Chinenye Uzoukwu and Dan Molina of NBC America amongst others. The event will also feature the cast of MNET’s soap, Tinsel who will be on ground to relate with their fans at a special autograph session.

There will be a special screening of ‘Big Daddy’, a the short film on rape and “Adesuwa” an epic movie by ace filmmaker Lancelot Oduwa-Imasuen will premiere on the 14 March at 6pm.

The students are not left out as a competition for undergraduates has been organized which requires the contestants to showcase their works and films. The winner receives a grand prize of N 1 million.

BOBtv will hold from Tuesday 13 March to Friday 16 March 2012 at the Ladi Kwali Convention Centre, Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Abuja.
