While the Grammys went on last night in Los Angeles, across the pond in London, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts held its annual awards night which is largely considered as the British Oscars.

All the biggest stars of stage and screen walked the carpet in demure looks that fit the bill of the event. The night’s biggest standouts were Rosamund Pike who wore a simple black gown by Roland Mouret, Laura Bailey who wore an echanting white gown by Emilia Wickstead, and Keira Knightley in Giambattista Valli.
