AMCON publishes names of 100 ‘chronic debtors’ (Full List)

The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) has announced that it has in its books, 217 chronic debtors – which include companies and individuals.

AMCON has published on its website 100 of the 217 chronic debtors, as directed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

“Further to our various publications advising debtors to come and settle their obligations with us, and in line with the directive of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) instructing us to publish the list of 217 chronic debtors.

“We hereby present a list of 100 out of a total of 12,744 obligors on our books, being the first batch of many to be published.”

The corporation further advised listed debtors “to engage us for resolution of their unpaid obligations.”

According to AMCON, the total amount owed by the 100 chronic debtors is N953.43 billion.

In the past week, AMCON has taken over the assets of Silverbird Group and Afrijet over N11 billion and N10 billion debts respectively.

  1. Let him go and pay his debt naaa.didn’t he owed them.After all he got enough money during obasanjo and stella.naaa.coupled with the NTA money……..and a serving senator with huge money they collect called allowance .so he has money except he doesn’t feel like paying back.
