While Puerto Rico still suffers from the aftermath of Hurricane Maria and some sections of Alabama, Louisiana and Tennessee navigating through Hurricane Nate, though with a moderate expression, another Tropical Storm “Ophelia” is expected to strengthen to a hurricane as it roars over the Atlantic.
The storm positions about 790 miles (1,270 kilometers) west-southwest of the Azores and is moving southeast near 3 mph (6 kph).
According to the US National Hurricane Center, the storm’s maximum sustained winds early Tuesday are near 50 mph (85 kph), and is expected to become a hurricane by Wednesday.
However, the Atlantic tropical cyclone is currently not a threat to any land.
