The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reportedly begun tour of states in the Southsouth zone to mobilise support for the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government and the party ahead of the 2019 general elections.

Highlights:

• The Zonal Publicity Secretary of the APC, Martins Mukoro said the tour would also afford it to reconcile all aggrieved members in the various state chapters to enhance the party’s unity for 2019 – visits would be led by its National Vice-Chairman (Southsouth), Hilliard Eta, to Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Edo states.
• The tour would commence this week. Expected to end September 30. The party would strategise and mobilise its members for total victory particularly in the zone.
