Bambam and Teddy A are continuing their Nollywood invasion with “The Gift”

Since being evicted (almost) together on the third season of Big Brother Naija, I have watched Bambam and Teddy A morph into a purported power couple. Aside gracing magazine covers, granting media interviews, and supporting each other’s hustle on Instagram, they have also been fielded into the same creative projects.

First starring in the upcoming star-studded, period piece Foreigner’s God, directed by Ifan Ifeanyi Michael, and now Princely-will’s The Gift, Bambam and Teddy A seem to be making it work. The film will have them play lovers (like, duh, what did you expect?) and pictures and clips from the shooting location have made it to social media.

In a teaser-adjacent visual, a whimpering Bambam turns and cries into the safe, solid comfort of Teddy A’s body, and he says something eye-rolling like, “I love you so much.” Then he kisses her forehead and further says, “We will go over to yours, and pack your things over to mine.”

Just one observation: with the tiled walls around them, and a shirtless Teddy A, why does it look like the scene was shot in, oh God, a toilet? Seriously though, I might be wrong but we can’t rule out anything. The Gift also features a cast of Oge Okoye, Lota Chukwu and Paul Sambo. Plot details are still under wraps, but we will bring you more information as the film develops.
