The Prime Minister of the Green Campus Initiative, Bankole Temitayo Samuel released a video titled “A Green Nigeria.
Here is an excerpt from the 2-minute video: “Imagine a future where the people and the planet matters. Imagine a society where youth are at the forefront of decision making. Imagine an economy that is not dependent on just one commodity: oil, where citizens are eco-conscious, ultimately taking steps in combating the negative impacts of climate change.
That is the future we are advocating for. The Green Campus Initiative is dedicated to building a generation of passionate, energetic, well-educated, environmentally and socially conscious student leaders. With over 1500 ambassadors trained in 38 universities across the country, we are now stronger than ever in making this future a reality.”
