This week on the chase saw the eviction of the last Kenyan housemate Annabel and Zambian funny man Sulu.
The live eviction show was brightened considerably by the presence of two of the continent’s biggest stars. Ghanaian Jackie Appiah and O.C. Ukeje, both winners of the inaugural Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) were in the Big Brother studios. Ms Appiah served as a guest judge for the movie task presentations earlier alongside ‘Man on ground’ director Akin Omotosho. O.C Ukeje parried questions from IK Osakioduwa and dished out tips on how to succed in the film industry.
Soon it was show time and IK announced that Kenyan lass Annabel scored the fewest country votes and was hereby evicted from The Chase. She hugged her housemates and urged Africa to always ‘’be who you are because you can never just impress everybody.’’
Head of House Bimp revealed that he had saved Cleo and replaced her with Sulu who was promptly ushered out of the house. Sulu was quite blaise about his eviction and declared that he held no ill feelings.
Later at night some major drama played itself out as Big Brother played the video of Nando and Elikem’s bust up for all the housemates. Biggie handed Elikem his first strike and tallied Nando’s at 3. The troubled Tanzanian had gotten into trouble for having a knife in his possession and for goading Elikem into an altercation.
In other news, Beverly was doing some more confessing, telling Angelo about how she used to date men for money just to take her of her family’s needs. She was then rewarded with a lap dance from the dreadlocked South African.
Melvin, Beverly, Angelo, Bimp, Elikem, Oneal, Feza, Dilish and Cleo are the last 9 standing. Who stays and who leaves? Join us next week on The Chase.
