It’s been a week since the new season of the Big Brother Naija show began, and Housemates are moving at a reasonable pace, as it relates to chasing after a romantic relationship in the House.
There has been signs here and there, about who likes who, but no major move has been made, and no one has really made a bold proclamation of love yet. For now, it just feels as though everyone is trying to exude a cool vibe and stay focused on the game. But after and even prior to last night’s game of truth or dare, some people really began to bear their hearts on their sleeves.
Pere, who was a fellow wildcard with Maria, revealed to Saga and Nini last night right before the truth or dare game, on the dinner table that he only has eyes for Maria. He also noted that he had been crushing on her even before he knew she was the other wildcard. This morning, he re-iterated his feelings for Maria again to Boma and Yousef.
On the other hand, Maria and White Money could possibly be a thing. Although their relationship seems more platonic than romantic, it’s hard to simply dismiss it as that, especially considering they seem to care for each other. This morning also, White Money revealed to Yousef, that the first lady that caught his attention was Maria. He also commented that she carries herself like a strong woman and he finds that attractive.
At the same time, White Money has been on a mission to keep away from Maria, and Maria has noticed and even confronted him about it. She asked him why he was acting different towards her, and he simply refused to reply.
Drama seems to be brewing, and it is unclear how this one would unfold, especially considering the unpredictability of the main player in all of this: Maria. it is uncertain how this would end up, and we certainly hope no one gets hurt, but one thing is certain, and that is the fact that Yousef must be a great listener, cause everyone just feels comfortable telling him personal things.
For Chinedu Okafor, its all about making an impact with words, creating a profound impression on the audience with the intended narrative.
