Senator representing Bayelsa East constituency zone, Ben Murray-Bruce, is pretty upset and he’s letting the world know.
The outspoken critic of President Muhammadu Buhari says he was barred from greeting the leader of the nation on Monday night at the presidential villa.
Ben Bruce was a guest at the state house alongside other federal lawmakers, who were hosted to a dinner by the President.
The Chairman of Silverbird Group believes that officials of the Department of State Services intentionally prevented him from greeting President Buhari due to his criticism of the policies of the APC government.
He took to social media to share his pain:
“I was at the presidential villa today. Went to the President’s table. DSS would not allow me greet him but let another Senator greet him.”
“I have nothing against the President, however, nobody is too important to be criticised and my mouth will never be silenced.”
