With the release of Lemonade, rumours about a secret Beyoncé and Jay Z joint album in the works has intensified.

Page Six reports that the album by the power couple is now finished.

The report says the LP is scheduled for an early release as a Tidal exclusive.

According to the website’s source, it’s the couple’s way of addressing infidelity rumors encircling their love life.

The source was also quoted saying, ‘Jay and Beyoncé were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after Lemonade,” the source explained.

Whilst the couple have not said a word about such an effort, there have been whispers in the industry especially in 2014 when DJ Skee claimed the joint project was set to be released.

Producer, Detail—who worked with the couple on Drunk in Love —also confirmed the existence of the joint project.

He was quoted as saying, ‘I’m working with a couple of new projects that I don’t want to unveil, and then me and Beyoncé and Jay Z are actually doing something together this year.”

“When you think of Jay and Bey together, you think ‘album.’ You should already know.”

Jay and Bey quite have a history of chart-topping collaborations such as 03 Bonnie & Clyde, Crazy in Love, and Upgrade U.
