Justice Adeniyi Ademola, one of the judges arrested by the Department of State Security has withdrawn from the trial of former National Security Adeviser, Sambo Dasuki, The Cable reports.
Ademola withdrew from the trial on Tuesday before the court, stating that the DSS had accused him of receiving bribes in connection to the case.
The DSS had alleged it recovered some foreign currencies from Ademola’s residence during a raid.
Ademola had however said his arrest was ordered by the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami due to a personal vendetta.
