At least ten persons have been killed as twin explosions ripped the metro in St Petersburg, Russia.
The incident which occurred at two separate locations including Sennaya Ploshchad train station left at least 50 injured including children.
There are unconfirmed reports of casualties from the incident in Sennaya Ploshchad train station.

At least eight ambulances are said to be at the scene.
According to Metro station officials, the blast came possibly from an improvised explosive device inside a train.
President Vladimir Putin, who was in St Petersburg on Monday has been informed.
