The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has discharged Senate President, Bukola Saraki, saying there is no case by the prosecution against him.
The Tribunal said the evidence not substantial to continue with the case.
Four prosecution witnesses and 48 exhibits, 18 counts of false assets declaration and money laundering were filed during hearing of Saraki.
CCT Chairman, Danladi Umar said, “The defendant is accordingly discharged and acquitted,” after it was said that the prosecution couldn’t prove a prima facie case against him.
