Reports reaching us say that the BringBackOurGirls campaigners have been repelled by security operatives in Abuja from nearing the presidential villa, in Aso Rock.
Members of the group who are protesting the abduction of the Chibok girls, reportedly clashed with the security officials as they made their way to Aso Rock villa to demand that the federal government take more action on the matter.
Commentators on social media, have wondered why the protesters are being denied their right to lodge complaints to the leader of the country; a situation which is a given in any functioning democracy.
Its been 183 days since over 200 Chibok girls were abducted from their hostel on 14 April.
