President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday held a closed-door meeting with a former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon (retd.), at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

According to The Punch both men met inside the President’s office.

Details of what transpired during the meeting remain unknown as Gowon did not speak to reporters after the Thursday meeting.
