Caitlyn Jenner says she is ‘considering’ running for California Senate

Caitlyn Jenner is considering a potential run for public office in California. She revealed this Sunday, during a radio interview with John Catsimatidis on AM 970 in New York..

Jenner said, “I have considered it, I like the political side of it. The political side of it has always been very intriguing to me. Over the next six months or so, I [have to] find out where I can do a better job. Can I do a better job from the outside, kind of working the perimeter of the political scene, being open to talk to anybody? Or are you better off from the inside? And we are in the process of determining that”.

This is not the first time Jenner is talking about her ambitions to venture into politics, on a segment of CNN Tonight, she addressed the issue;

According to The Los Angeles Times , the next Senate election in California would be for Dianne Feinstein’s seat.Though the  84-year-old Democrat is yet to announce her intentions to run in 2018, “no prominent Republican candidate has publicly announced interest in the seat.”

An Olympic gold medalist, Caitlyn Jenner was formerly known as Bruce Jenner, husband to Kris Jenner and father to the Kardashian clan before he came out as a woman and then later transitioned.
