“We have everything it takes to bring change to our continent”

Otto Orondaam, the Winner of the 2012 edition of The Future Awards in the category Innovation of the Year – Education, speaks on his project in the video below.

“I started the Slum2School project in 2012 which is an intervention to help disadvantaged kids from slums get access to basic education,” he said.

“Nigeria has the highest number of out of school children in the world. Right from inception of the Slum2School project we’ve had hundreds of kids who have been exposed to basic education and we have worked with over a thousand young volunteers who share the same passion to bring change.”

“Rather than just talking about the problems, we can go out there and solve these problems. We have everything it takes to bring change to our continent.”
