CNN Producer calls coverage of Trump-Russia investigation bulls**t on video

Founder of Project Veritas  James O’Keefe has released an undercover video of a CNN producer saying the network’s constant coverage of a possible collusion between Trump administration officials and Russia during the 2016 presidential election is “mostly bullshit.”

In the clip, CNN supervising producer John Bonifield, who works in the network’s medical unit says “I haven’t seen any good enough evidence to show that the president committed a crime, I just feel like they don’t really have it, but they want to keep digging. And so I think the president is probably right to say, like, look you are witch hunting me”.

It appears Bonifield is unaware that he is being filmed in the clips, he is seen speaking to an off-screen persona in the clips. O’Keefe says the clips were taken by people in his company who joined CNN.

Project Veritas founder O’Keefe is not a rookie at producing controversial undercover videos. He has a beencriticized for releasing videos that were selectively edited to portray people in a negative light. O’Keefe has also donned costumes in past videos as part of undercover projects to get people to talk on camera.

0’Keefe was sentenced to three years of probation in 2010, 100 hours of community service and a $1,500 fine after pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges stemming from entering Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D-La.) office on false pretenses.
