Colin Kaepernick commends Eminem’s freestyle rap attack on Trump

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Colin Kaepernick has tweeted in appreciation of blistering freestyle rap attack on President Donald Trump by prolific rapper Eminem.

The 44-year-old rapper in the freestyle video filmed in a parking garage, blasted Trump for trading the expediency of Puerto Rico relief operations for attack on the NFL.

“He gets an enormous reaction when he attacks the NFL, so we focus on that instead of talking Puerto Rico or gun reform for Nevada. All these horrible tragedies and he’s bored and would rather cause a Twitter storm with the Packers,” Eminem raps.

Kaepernick who is a free agent sparked the NFL protests by kneeling during the national anthem in protest of racial injustice before a 2016 preseason game tweeted, “I appreciate you Eminem” with a link to the freestyle.

The Detroit-born rapper slammed Trump for everything from ignoring tragedies in favour of “causing a Twitter debacle” to “support for the Klansman” and slandering Hillary Clinton. He also refers to Trump as “this racist 94-year-old grandpa”.

Eminem’s freestyle also cited Trump’s recklessness in dealing with North Korea, saying, “We better give Obama props ’cause what we got in office now is a kamikaze that will probably cause a nuclear holocaust while the drama pops, and he waits for s— to quiet down, he’ll just gas his plane up and fly around till the bombing stops”.

The video which was also aired on last night’s BET awards had 1.5 million views and was the No. 1 trending video on YouTube within hours of airing.
