An FCT High Court this morning dismissed a bail application by Senator Iyiola Omisore for lack of competence.

Omisore is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the sum of N1.3billion he allegedly got from the office of the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.

Investigations done by the EFCC showed that the Senator received N1.3billion from funds pilfered from the office of the National Security Adviser to fund Governor Ayodele Fayose into office in 2014.
