The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has reportedly upheld the election of Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State.
Presided by Justice Gabriel Kolawole, the court dismissed the application by Umar Dahiru to challenge the correctness of the December 4, 2014, primary election of the APC in Sokoto state, Premium Times reports.
Dahiru had approached the court, requesting that it sets aside the APC primaries following an allegation of non-compliance of the said primaries to laid down rules by the party to select its flagbearer.
