This New Year, new artist, Bella is not playing around, she has just come out of the studio with two spanking new singles ‘Nothin’ Do Me’ and ‘Apple of My Eye’ produced by El Emcee.
Bella is a budding artist with a unique Nigerian sound that appeals to both local and global audience. According to Bella (Bukola Akinnuoye) an undergraduate of Oxford Brookes University in the UK, the passion for singing was the reason she joined the choir and enrolled in a music school.
‘Nothin Do Me’ is party/club joint with a sprinkle of Yoruba expressing the need to have fun and relax despite our common worries in today’s society. The techno feel in the song makes it very appealing to Europeans and music lovers world over. While ‘Apple of My Eye’ is simply a love song that reveres the qualities of someone very important to her emotionally and it could also be interpreted to mean exaltation of God’s love.
