Dangote ranked 68th on Forbes list of world’s most powerful persons

Forbes Magazine has named Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote as one of the most powerful persons in the world.

Dangote who had consistently made the list since 2013 was ranked second most powerful in Africa just behind Egyptian President, Abdel el-Sisi.

Dangote was named alongside world leaders such as Russian President, Vladimir Putin; American President-elect of the United States of America, Donald Trump; and German Chancellor, Angela Merkel.

Forbes, in the latest edition of its 74 World Most Powerful People, Dangote was named 68th most powerful in the world for this year, coming only after the Egyptian President, Abdel el-Sisi, who was adjudged 44th in the world.

Russian President was listed most powerful in the world, Donald Trump ranked second and Germany’s Angela Merkel listed third.
