Did we expect any? No.

What we did not expect though is that the wife of the President was not yet done with her “acts of defiance”.

Today’s real update is that Aisha Buhari, apart from not apologising, is over the seas receiving an award for participating in global discourse on security and the role of women –how about that for function, dear PMB?

But then, as you will read below, people have decided to twist the plot.

So she was presented with an award at the Crans Montana African women’s forum where she delivered an address yesterday on Women’s Role in Global Security.

The award was presented to her by the Deputy Belgian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Didier Reynders.

Now, rather than focus on the fact that our first lady has not done well by getting this honour, she has gone on to be selfless about it; dedicating to all our lost heroes, who died fighting terror to restore peace. No mans have got npo patience for that.

Instead, they have used microscope to pick out one of the photos where Mrs Buhari was shaking Minister Didier as she received her award.

Ordinarily, we’d have gone on to explain how according to Islamic tenets, she should not have done this but we won’t because this is not the first time and it appears Nigerians just want wahala. From a woman that has no energy to spare for banter.
