Davido has continually tried to make it clear that he has paid his dues in the music business like everyone else, rich father aside.

The star again expressed this view during his UK tour on Vox Africa UK. Davido explained how he has had to deal with the stereotype and how he intends to keep dealing with it for the rest of his life. “I just have to continue making the good music that I make,” the singer said. “That’s the only thing that I care about.”
