Former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, appeared at Westminster Magistrate Court in London, on Monday, to face charges of corruption and money laundering.
A journalist with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Sam Piranty, disclosed this on his Twitter page.
Piranty also revealed that Diezani’s mother, Beatrice Agama, accompanied her to Westminster.

Regarding Alison-Madueke here is confirmation she was in Court 10 this morning at 10am pic.twitter.com/T2epVbspLn — Sam Piranty (@sampiranty) October 5, 2015
Piranty had initially expressed doubts over the possibility of Diezani showing up in court.
“On #diezani watch this morning. Unlikely she’ll arrive here after story leaked to press about today,” he had written.

Still nothing outside Charing Cross on diezani or others. Some have headed to Croydon as think she might be in court, unlikely #Nigeria

Have a feeling Alison-Madueke wont end up at Charing Cross. Location known by press & NCA still not released details of those arrested…

…most likely taken to another location and questioned there.
