Do you want to inbox your business proposal to Mark Zuckerberg? It costs $100 [DETAILS]

If you’re interested in pitching an amazing idea to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, you may want to make sure your paycheck cashed before doing so because your inbox message to the entrepreneur will cost you a cool $100. That’s right. You are being charged to send Zuckerberg, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandburg, CFO David Ebersman, and many others a message that will land in their inbox — not the infamous “other” inbox category.

Last month, they announced Facebook was starting to charge users in the United States a one-time fee of $1 to send a private message to someone’s inbox who is not their friend. They promised the message would land in the person’s primary inbox as opposed to the “other” inbox, which is practically for spam. When asked about the new $100 inbox feature for communicating with Facebook’s executive team, and even other business professionals such as Digg founder Kevin Rose, a representative told CNN Money: ”We are testing some extreme price points to see what works to filter spam.

Well, “extreme” is certainly a good choice of a word, as $100 would need to guarantee me some feedback from the person I’m sending the message to. I must add, it is probably a very wise investment for those seeking to launch a business and/or network with Facebook’s executive team, but again, this is if they are mandated to respond to your message.

Would you pay $100 to pitch an idea to Mark Zuckerberg’s inbox?
