55- year-old Florence Aladenoye, has been bitten to death by a dog in Ondo state.
Just after it attacked her, Florence was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Owo, where she later died.
Dog owner, Mr. Olofingbasote Afolabi, had been arrested and was being detained at the State Department of Criminal Investigation.
The PRO of Police, Mr. Ogodo said, “The matter was reported to Afolabi, the owner for the dog, but he did not take any action to treat the victim. So the victim was taken to five different hospitals before she died at the FMC.”
Ogodo urged residents of the state who reared dogs and other domestic animals to ensure that their animals were properly kept and immunised.
