A hunter, Sikiru Osideko, has been arrested for allegedly shooting dead his friend, Segun Okusi, during a hunting expedition.
In his defense, Osideko, said he had thought his friend was the prey and had mistaken him for it.
Apparently, both friends and hunters, Osideko and Okusi, had gone to hunt in a nearby bush and about 30 minutes after they separated, Osideko reportedly noticed a movement in the bush and shot in the direction with his dane gun.
It would have been a great shot if an animal was his target, but unfortunately, it was his friend as Okusi was said to have let out a sharp cry, which made the suspect to realise that he had shot at him.
