Ex-Big Brother Naija 2017 contestant, Cocoice in reacted to actress Mercy Aigbe’s interview, where she narrated her ordeal in the hands of estranged husband, Lanre Gentry, said she has suffered a similar situation.
Cocoice said she did not stay for the violence to go brutal and had to run.
The rapper gave a brief narrative of how she had managed her own domestic violence with a former boyfriend, saying she called it quit after the second beating.
The reality star enjoined women who are physically abused to leave the relationship and seek help.
In a post she shared on her Instagram page she wrote, “OMG I just read Mercy Aigbe’s interview! Pls ladies if he slaps you and you are in a relationship, just break up abeg.
“I was dating this guy, first time he slapped me! He begged! Everyone begged for him! I went back! Second time he beat me like a drum! I never went back! Never.”
