Since the release of MAVIN team song, “Dorobucci”, the word has become a slang in Nigeria.

If you are not familiar with the meaning of the word, worry no more, Mavin artiste and one of Nigeria’s leading musicians, Sidney Onoriode Esiri – Dr. Sid – has finally revealed what it – ‘Dorobucci’ – means.

“DoroBucci was a song Don-Jazzy created on a social media and we decided to share it with our fans. It featured Don-Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, D’Prince, and I. For the first time, the song also has our new signees into MAVIN family, Di’Ja, Korede Bello and Reekado Banks.

“Dorobucci is a movement, you’re a Dorobucci, I am a Dorobucci, so also everybody. So, the question is, what is Doro about you? For me, my Doro is Lere, that is why you see it boldly written on my branded T-shirt, Doro Lere, meaning, Doro has reward,” he told Encomium in a recent chat.

When asked when he will be getting married to his fiancee Simi Osomo, he said “Summer, around July, after the World Cup.”

Speaking further on his love life he said “From the quote of my very good friend who once said, “Don’t get it twisted, love is a beautiful thing.” If men want to be sincere to themselves, they perform better, they behave better, once they have a woman in their life.”
