Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi on Friday had an hot exchange of words with Omatseye Nesiama, a retired Navy Commodore.
Omatseye who was speaking as a panelist at the Nigeria Symposium for Young and Emerging Leaders organised by The Future Project and YMonitor, remarked that one of the key reasons people in areas battling with insecurity fail to share intelligence with security agents, is the fear of the unknown.
In butressing his point, he made mention of a certain whistle blower who had volunteered confidential information to the security agents and was at the verge of being jailed, which was vehemently opposed by the the former Rivers Governor from the audience.
Amaechi in debunking the claim, challenged that the security expert to mention the name of the alleged whistle blower and he will do all in his power to ensure his release, leaving the ex-military man dumb founded.
