DSS allegedly paid N152m into ex-pension boss Maina’s account

The Department of State Security (DSS) one made payments into an account t belonging to wanted ex-chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina, Premium Times reports.

While supporting Maina on Wednesday, his family had hinted that he got security from the DSS.

Maina has been reported to use bankers and other intermediaries to launder most of the money he allegedly embezzled from the pension funds.

It was learnt that three payments into an account he opened through his banker sibling was made Department of State Services (DSS).

Bank documents show that the security outfit paid a total of over N152 million.

It was gathered that first tranche of over N61 million was paid on November 16, 2011 and the last made on November 14, 2012.

The payments were reportedly made in the name of “DSS Pension Biometrics”.
