National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has congratulated the party’s candidate in the Edo State governorship election, Godwin Obaseki for his victory at the polls.

Tinubu said Obaseki will continue the” good work” of Governor Adams Oshiomhole.

He referred to Obaseki as a tested technocrat, stating that Edo had taken after Lagos in the continuity model, which he said has worked well for the people of Lagos State.

INEC declared Obaseki winner of the polls with 319,483 votes over PDP Ize-Iyamu’s 253,173 votes.
