The Nigeria Police force has arrested three more members of the kidnapping gang that abducted the wife of the Central Bank Governor, Margaret Emefiele, The Punch reports.
This latest arrest brings to nine those picked up for the abduction which occurred last week Thursday along the Benin-Agbor road.
The police had arrested six members of the gang earlier in the week.
Police sources said detectives of the Inspector-General of Police Special Monitoring and Intelligence Team, led by CSP Abba Kyari, was closing in on the other members of the 12-man kidnapping gang.
A source said, “We now have nine of the gang members in custody. We are confident that we would get the remaining three suspects in a short while.”
