Adekunle Gold reveals the title of his debut album and more

Adekunle Gold has disclosed the title and details of his forthcoming album.

Speaking to Channels TV in a telephone chat, the Pick up singer said that the project, which is titled Gold, is slated for release sometime in May or June.

In terms of collaborations on the album, he said fans should expect nothing but surprises.

“It’s in the works. If I’m featuring anybody or not, I am not ready to say yet, but, definitely there are surprises on the album’. He told Channels TV.

The YBNL act’s 2013 love tune, Shade brought him to the limelight and he currently has three critically-acclaimed singles to his credit.

His newly-released song ‘Ready’, is purportedly his last single before the album drops.

Iyanya serenades his ‘Type of Woman’ in new video
Iyanya has released the video to his newly released R&B single, Type of Woman.

The steamy video shot by Megaboii saw the Mr Oreo singer express his desires to his love interest in a melodious manner.

This would be Iyanya’s first official video of the year.

Janet Jackson postpones world tour to plan a family with husband
Singer, Janet Jackson has announced that she and her Qatari billionaire husband, Wissam Al Mana, are planning a family. The duo, who got married in 2012, are expecting their first child.

The 49-year-old made the special announcement to fans through a twitter video she shared earlier on Wednesday.

Due to the new development, Jackson has said she would have to postpone the second leg of her Unbreakable World tour on doctor’s orders.

Judge warns 50 cent to stop being a show-off on social media
Rapper, 50 cent has been given a stern warning by the court to discontinue his ridiculous show of affluence on social media if he is indeed broke as he claims.

The Get Rich or Die Tryin star was given a dress down by the Connecticut Judge in charge of his Bankruptcy case at a courtroom in Hartford on Wednesday.

“There is nothing funny going on here. This is all very serious business,” Judge Ann Nevins scolded 50.

“I am not trying to impede on anyone’s right to exercise free speech. But I would appreciate it if we can keep the tone of this case very serious,”

“You have all been advised. This is not funny,” she added

50, who has been away from Instagram, was highly fond of parading wads of cash on his page; even after filing for bankruptcy last summer.

Harry Potter’s J.K Rowlings auctions wooden chair for close to $400,000
Renowned fiction writer, J.K Rowlings probably never imagined this would happen as she sat in that chair back in 1995 when she started writing Harry Porter.

The wooden chair which Rowlings sat in when she wrote the first two books of her most famous work till date was sold at a New York City auction on Wednesday for $394,000.

According to an Associated Press report, the chair which is one of four mismatched chairs given to the then unknown writer for her flat in Edinburgh, Scotland was sold by a certain Gerald Gray to an anonymous buyer.

Gray had purchased the 1930’s piece on eBay in 2009 for $29,000, AP reports.

The chair comes along with a special note from JK Rowlings herself.
