BBNaija’s Tobi Bakre has something to say about former housemates

In an interview with Pulse, the Big Brother Naija second runner-up explained why some of the housemates fade away after the show.

He said: “Some people are not out there for the social media life. Like naturally, they are not out there for that kind of life. So they go into the reality show for whatever reason and after the show, they sink back into their private life.

But for some others, they want showbiz, they want to act, they want to host, they want to be out there. I think that’s the clear divide. They are some people that have things they want to do that need them to be out there, they need to be seen, they need to remain famous.

But for some people, it’s more like, ‘yea, I have gotten this level of buzz and it’s okay. It was fun while it lasted but I’d rather have my private life.’ So  I think it’s a decision thing.

And then for some people, maybe they tried somethings to be in the showbiz world and it doesn’t go as planned. Because when you come out, people have like very high expectations, and if you don’t deliver, you just crawl back in.”

Nigerian actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has reflected on her past.

She wrote on Instagram:

Never did this cause I thought it was narcissistic but today I will. It’s Okay. This lady right here … It’s crazy how you sometimes look back and see things differently isn’t it. You sometimes wish someone showed you then clearly what you now see today. Dear lady in this picture, I don’t know how you did it, but thanks. Thanks for laying a good foundation that I enjoy today. Thanks for being so strong, so resilient , so focused. You were young but not reckless, sweet but not available , sometimes confused but never wandered . You had your own battles but fought them with grace… and Won. Even today, when I feel weak, I look at you and draw strength from you… it’s crazy ! Thank you . You’re my #WCW“.

Kim Kardashian says she ‘cried and screamed’ when she heard Kanye West’s slavery comments

Kanye West had said during a live chat with TMZ on May 1, “you hear about slavery for 400 years. 400 years? That sounds like a choice.

400 years and it’s all of y’all?”

Kim has revealed that she knew Kanye had the ‘best intentions’ but that she was left upset when she heard the remarks.

I cried because it is a lot of what we went through.

I know my husband has the best intentions. He has the biggest heart. I know his heart, so I know he’ll always have that chance to explain himself when the time is right.”

Speaking to Extra at the CFDA Awards on Tuesday, she added: “This time I wasn’t so calm… I know what he meant so ultimately, after a week, I was calm… I think he explained it well in the song.”

Kanye dropped his new album Ye and raps about Kim’s reaction following his comments. “My wife callin’, screamin’, say we ’bout to lose it all,” he raps.
