Cynthia Morgan comes for Yung6ix ‘for leaking their un-finished record’

On Thursday, July 14, 2016,  Cynthia Morgan blasted Yung6ix after she claimed the rapper and his team purposely leaked a song with her unfinished verse.

The German Juice artiste aired out her grievances in an Instagram post where she explained she had reached out to Yung6ix in a bid to complete the verse before it was released.

Ice Prince delivers Excellency in new song

Talking about new music, the Super Cool Cats CEO himself, Ice Prince has one for us and it is titled, ‘Excellency’.

He teams up with South Africa’s DJ Buckz on this Illkeyz-produced song.

Ayo Jay becomes first Nigerian artiste to have his single on a USA Billboard chart

Now on to people using music to break barriers and set antecedents.

Nigerian artiste, Ayo Jay has seen his 2013 hit single- Your Number- debut on the Billboard Hot R’nB songs chart.

In May 2016, Ayo Jay got signed on to RCA Records – a vision of Sony Music and he then re-released the song to the American market.

The track, which has gotten a remix from US Hip-Hip star, Fetty Wap, also earned the One Nation managed act the 20th spot on the Billboard Spotify Velocity Chart.

This makes him the first Nigerian act to appear on the USA Billboard chart as a headline artiste. We know Wale might argue with this but we are talking about people who launched their careers in Nigeria and not Nigerians in diaspora.

 

Rihanna ‘safe’ in Nice after Bastille Day attack

Following the Bastille day attack where over 70 people were reported dead, America artiste, Rihanna who was in Nice, France, during the incident has been confirmed to be ‘safe’.

The singer was gearing up for her Friday concert in the French city at the Allianz Stadium when the attack occurred but her representatives have told Billboard that ‘she’s safe.’

Her show and other events in the city have now been cancelled following a tweet from the President.

She also made the announcement via her Instagram post.

Seventy-five people have been reported dead and 100 said to be injured after a truck ran over a crowd of people in Nice, France who had converged to celebrate Bastille Day – a French national holiday.

 

Taylor Swift faces more heat after Kim Kardashian puts her on blast over Kanye Feud.

Singer, Taylor Swift might be getting all the love from her new beau, Tom Hiddleston at the moment but she has hardly been getting any in the past few days from her ex, Calvin Harris and the public following her messy break up with the award-winning DJ.

Kim Kardashian has now intensified the heat on the Bad Blood actress after she blasted her in a sneak peek for Sunday’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

The reality star challenged Taylor Swift’s reaction to hubby, Kanye West‘s song, Famous.

In her July GQ feature, Kim confirmed that Kanye had indeed reached out to Taylor who approved the controversial line – “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous”- on Kanye West’s 2016 album The Life of Pablo.

Kim, while speaking to Kourtney, said Taylor Swift was just trying to play victim and trying to take advantage of  the ‘honest’ Kanye.

‘Yeah and you know just another way to play the victim,’ Kim told Kourtney.

“I feel like I’ve had it with people blatantly treating my husband a certain way and making him look a certain way, and I’m gonna say how I feel,” Kim says during her interview.

“Kanye is always so honest and speaks his mind. And you know, when we were first dating, people would always talk s–t and he always had my back. At this point, I really don’t give a f— so I’ll do whatever to protect my husband.”
