Wizkid’s highly anticipated homecoming concert to hold December 30th

Two weeks ago, Wizkid sought suggestions from his fans on Twitter on when to fix his end of the year homecoming concert for.

Last night, the multi-award winning artiste, along with organisers Flytime Promotions, announced that December 30th has been scheduled for the homecoming concert and it will hold at the Eko Convention Center. D’banj speaks up on N100m debt rumoursEntertainment Roundup

In an interview with Soundcity’s Moet Abebe on radio show, The Takeover, D’banj admits that the rumours of a N100m lawsuit are true, though he calls it an “investment” and a “partnership”.

According to D’banj, he did not borrow the said amount.

It was reported few days back that the Kokomaster was owing a sum of N100m to a technology company, Mindhub with whom he had signed a memorandum of understanding for the promotion of concerts organised by his media house.

He called on blogs and media houses who peddled the debt rumours to refrain from tarnishing an image “that God has already built”.

Since the news of his alleged theft, conflicting reports have trailed the Seun Egbegbe controversy.

Two days ago, the Nollywood movie producer and ex-lover of Toyin Aimakhu was accused of stealing nine iPhones from a phone store in Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos.

Yesterday, the accused released an official statement describing the reports as “pretty laughable” and untrue. He claimed though he was at the location, such situation never arose.

New reports have it that Mr Egbegbe is actually still facing interrogation at the Area F police command contrary to his claim of “chilling at home”.

Lady Gaga reaches out to Kanye West as he remains hospitalized

ladThe 30 year old Poker Face singer has sent out tweets showing love and support for the rapper who is still in the hospital for exhaustion and psychotic breakdown.

In her tweets, Lady Gaga said, “While I don’t agree with everything he does I hope the public shows compassion and love for Kanye West and each other“.

Lady Gaga who has been a victim of mental illness herself further tweeted, “It’s not funny to joke about anyone’s possible or not possible mental illness, this is a sensitive time for many, let’s be kind and loving“.

Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian has remained by his side at the hospital since she cancelled her trip to Los Angeles to be with him.

Boj and Simi might be on to a collaboration

Having Simi’s voice on any track is like striking gold and many artistes have shown interest in working with her, if not as a singer then as a mixer.

Yesterday, alternative artiste, Boj, most popular for hit track, Paper shared what looks like a studio photo with Simi.

Simi, who recently released a joint EP, Chemistry with FalztheBahdGuy also shared a separate photo of herself with Boj in the same location and captioned it with what we speculate might be the lyrics to the song in the making.
