Watford Football Club secured their first victory over Manchester United for the first time in thirty years.
Watford who secured a 3-1 victory at Vicarage road last defeated United on September 16, 1986.
Goals from Etienne Capoue, Juan Zuniga, and captain Troy Deeney was enough to earn them a memorable win.
Capoue opened the scoring in the 34th minute. Marcus Rashford levelled the tie from an Ibrahimovic assist in the 62nd minute.
The game looked set to end in a draw but Watford full back Zuniga scored his team’s second goal in the 84th minute. Troy Deeney put the tie to bed when he scored from the spot in added time after Zuniga was brought down in the United penalty area.
Today’s defeated makes it three defeats in a row for United in a week, and the first time Jose Mourinho has lost three matches in a row in a single season since 2002.
