#FelaLivesOn: Femi performs on ‘City of Friends’ stage with son, Made (WATCH)

Today marks 20 years that the Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti died due to complications associated with HIV/AIDS.

Through the years, Femi, the scion of the Anikulapo clan has, carried the Afrobeat torch with grace and a sense of responsibility across Africa and the globe.

With the grooming of Ayomide ‘Made’ Kuti, his son, it is obvious that Femi is determined to pass on the music legacy to the next generation.

Made, who turned 21 last year, started playing with his father since he was 6 years old and began touring with him two years after. A student of the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, Made has toured Europe, Australia and Asia with his father, although he is yet to begin his solo journey in the Nigerian music industry.

Watch Femi and Made hit all the right notes on stage at the just concluded “33” Export ‘City of Friends’ – it’s absolutely amazing!
