On Thursday 21st February 2013, Fountain of Praise in furtherance of her social entrepreneurship effort, will directly and positively affect the lives of over 120 orphans and children with special needs.

Last year October, Fountain of Praise hosted her yearly benefit concert, Worship for Change at The Shell Hall of the Muson centre on Sunday October 21st.  Artistes that performed before a packed hall at this event were Eben, Wale Adenuga, Freke, Psalmos and Nathaniel Bassey.

Funds raised at the concert was in excess of N3m and would be disbursed as follows to the following two beneficiaries:

–   Cerebral Palsy Centre, Surulere, founded by Mrs. Nonye Nweke which caters for children with cerebral palsy. They will receive a cheque of N1.5m which will help in resolving property lease fees as well getting resources and tools that will assist in the therapy of the children at this centre.

–  Raco child and rural care initiative founded by Daniel Nwaka will get a cheque of N1.5m to help augment construction costs of building a school catering for 109 indigent children in Araromi town, Ibeju Lekki Local Government area of Lagos State.

Since 2006, the Worship For Change yearly concerts helped to raise over N17m to provide support for thousands of children cared for by charities the following charities:

– Hearts of Gold Hospice, Surulere

– Arrows of God orphanage, Ajah

– Patrick Speech and Language Centre, GRA Ikeja

– Hephzibah Orphanage, Badagry

– Society for the Safety of the Insane and Destitute (SO-SAID)

– JAKIN NGO, Iwaya, Yaba

– Temitayo Awosika Help Foundation, Ilupeju

– Badagry and Ikorodu Sickle Cell clubs.

– LOTS Charity Foundation, Dustbin Estate, Ajegunle

– Downs’ Syndrome Foundation of Nigeria

– Jesus Children Mission Outreach, Ibadan

– Leprosy Mission Nigeria

– Total Child Educational Foundation, Surulere

– Calvary Ministries, Lagos
