It seems the ‘Go and Die’ widow hasn’t been the only one smiling to the bank as a result of the benevolence of Edo state governor , Adams Oshiomhole.

Tuesday January  7, 2014 may be the day  a little girl in Edo state will never forget as a result of  her encounter with the state governor, Adams Oshiomhole at the New Benin road by Total filling station in the state capital, Benin City.

As the story goes, Gov. Oshoiomhole and his entourage were spotted by some little children hawking and began to run away out of fear but a little girl (name unknown) carrying plantain chips on a tray refused to run.

The governor reportedly Oshiomhole saw the the little girl, alighted from his car, walked up to her as everyone stood to watch the drama unfold. The governor was said to have issued her a cheque of N1 million to reward her boldness.

 Yesterday Tuesday January 7,2014 at New Benin by Total fuel station in Benin City, Gov Adams Oshiomhole and his entourage were passing by and as usual,he was on foot while his cars were on the move.

Some little children hawking (with their goods on their heads) saw him and began running  for their lives but a little girl hawking plantain chips stood still because she was perhaps too sacred to run.

 Gov Oshiomhole got to where this little girl was standing, looked at her and as everyone stood still and watched the outcome,he brought out his pen and wrote her a 1million naira cheque and threw her plantain chips into the air and people began catching them to eat.. Lol.

Instead of telling her to go and die,he gave her one million naira cheque to go and live!
