“I can’t read” | What Akpabio’s witness said today in Akwa Ibom election tribunal

The supposed graduate was one of the witnesses of former governor Godswill Akpabio, at the Akwa Ibom National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday.

Stanley Annah, said he could not see nor read, when he was asked to read out the total number of accredited voters for Ikot Ekpene.

After telling the tribunal that elections held in all the polling units of the council, he miraculously lost his sight and reading capabilities.

He said: “I can’t see anything, I can’t read.”

He was asked if he was indeed a graduate of Agriculture as he’d claimed, and he responded affirmatively.

Annah attempted to play out his farce but no one was buying it, and he begrudgingly read out 22,761 as the total number of accredited voters for Ikot Ekpene.

Surely, Senator Akpabio can’t bank on witnesses who can’t read…

That’s it for today’s episode of weird-things-we-see.
