‘He turned me into a sheep & I was healed’ – Grass-eating church members share testimonies (PHOTOS, READ)

Despite controversy over recently released photos showing members of a South African church eating grass on the orders of their pastor, the congregation of the Rabboni Centre Ministries have defended the action.

Some members of the church, headed by Pastor Lesego Daniel, have shared testimonies of how eating grass changed their lives and even brought them healing.

Pastor Lesego was earlier criticized for making his congregation eat grass in order to be “closer to God”.

The church members defended their pastor saying:

Yes, we eat grass and we’re proud of it because it demonstrates that, with God’s power, we can do anything,” one of his members Rosemary Phetha told South Africa’s Times Live.

Laila’s blog reports:

According to the 21-year-old Unisa law student, she had been battling a sore throat for more than a year.
She claims it was healed after Daniel “turned me into a sheep and instructed me to eat grass”.

Another member, 27-year-old Doreen Kgatle who suffered a stroke two years ago said:

“I could not walk but soon after eating the grass, as the pastor had ordered, I started gaining strength and an hour later I could walk again.

Reports from South Africa say it’s cos of these ‘miracles’ that people from all walks of life, including teachers, nurses and accountants, whose luxury German sedans adorn the church’s parking lot keep getting attracted to Pastor Lesego Daniel’s church.

These people visit in thousands to buy pastor Daniel’s “Miracle” bumper stickers, little bottles of “anointing oil” which the pastor says possess special powers.
If you do not have cash, you can swipe your bank card.
When Pastor Daniel speaks in tongues, his followers go into a trance, mumbling words in a strange language.

Meanwhile, dozens of his members, on the other hand, who didn’t get ‘healed’ after eating the grass, were seen in new pictures getting sick in the toilets, clutching their stomachs, vomiting in sinks and buckets.
