Nigerian soldiers recaptured the town of Baga, Borno state over the weekend and they are currently reported to be engaging in mopping-up operations to rid the area of insurgent elements.

The pictures below are the scenes of Nigerian ground troops who recaptured the town which was taken over by Boko Haram insurgents in January.
