What could be the strangest thing you’d expect from a Housemate?
Well Tacha Akide, the Titan herself, just outweirded, out performed and out shone all her peers when her fanbase announced last weekend that they were starting an online reality show to honour her legendary status. Yes, you heard right, Tacha is getting a 100% fan sourced reality television show that will happen almost exclusively on IG.
Meet our 30 contestants, they will be going live on Instagram, post on post notification for more details, don’t miss out any thing🔱🔱

House of Tacha exists in the closed system of fandom that has grown around Akide, sometimes even excluding her directly from their proceedings. The virtual reality show, with its own very strict rules, is not officially endorsed by Akide, and the moderators are quick to offer this information so as to prevent any kind of ambiguity. This is purely a vehicle for the fans to share in their mutual fandom, keep her name in the blogs and on the trend lists without her needing to lift a finger to ensure its success. That is the level of fandom that other Big Brother Nigeria housemates would kill to attain. Akide on the other hand has played the fame game very well, honouring invitations to join the reunion shows at Big Brother (Khafi Kareem suffered a personal tragedy before the reunions shows began and opted not to continue) and using the platform to clear the air on general issues. Prime time is not her problem.
The House of Tacha Housemates are fully committed to having their fun, the first tasks have already been requested and the H.O.T housemates have eagerly responded, after dividing themselves into coloured themed houses.

It might be to soon to predict, but with a new season of Big Brother Nigeria just begun, and Tacha’s army no closer to letting up or moving on, Ms. Akide might become the very first Nigerian housemate to truly crossover into status with her fanbase. Some people may have choice words, but we see it as commendable.
