Finally, the wait is over, Big Brother Naija Season five is well underway, and with our first look at this year’s contestants, we believe that they will be dishing out the sort of juicy and saucy drama that will have us locked onto our TV screens for the next two months.
But before the season truly kicks off, here’s a sneak peak at the twenty contestants this season:
Name: Boluwatife Aderogba ‘Lilo’
Fun Fact: Fun loving, and ambitious, Lilo prefers that people stay out of her business, while she does the same. She has assured the audience that she will be bringing a lot of energy and good vibes into the house.
Name: Terseer Kiddwaya
Occupation: Self employed
Fun Fact: Saturday nights are going to be interesting with Terseer around. He says he loves to party, and has promised to spice things up in the house, as he claims that he wouldn’t compromise on bringing a lot of fun into the house.
Name: Ozoemena Chukwu ‘Ozo’
Occupation: Consultant and Entrepreneur
Fun Fact: Barely a day in and he is already a favorite amongst female fans. This handsome fellow who has now become the internet’s benchmark of a spec, bagged an impressive first class in his BSc Economics. He however plans to bring a lot of mischief into the house.
Name: Timmy Sinclair ‘TrickyTee’
Occupation: Creative artiste
Fun Fact: With the nick name Tricky Tee, and stating that he would most likely be involved in a lot of fights in the house because of his mouth, you just know this housemate is going to be up to no good, and we are here for it. He works in the media industry and is the oldest contestant in the house.
Name: Wathoni Florence Anyansi
Occupation: Fashion entrepreneur
Fun Fact: Hard to tell with just one glance, but Wathoni is a proud single mother, with a passion for fashion. She is versed in Swahili and runs her own parenting blog.
Name: Dorothy Bachor
Fun Fact: One of the housemate who admitted that she is in this for the money, Dorothy has promised to be a trouble maker in the house. She believes that she is the only one who should make you smile.
Name: Eric Akhigbe
Fun Fact: Looking like a character straight out of a comic book strip, this fitness instructor says he enjoys taking off his clothes most of the time, and with his 6’5 feet built frame female fans probably wouldn’t mind. He is a sports and fitness enthusiast.
Name: Neo Akpofure
Occupation: Ride-hailing app driver
Fun Fact: A man of many layers, Neo is a fashionable young gentleman who loves to bring the fun wherever he goes, but make no mistakes about it, Neo promises to never stand for bullying and inequality.
Name: Olamilekan ‘Laycon’
Fun Fact: Laycon believes that being in the big brother house presents him with the opportunity of being away from his phone. He is looking forward to new experiences, meeting new people, making new friends and of course having fun.
Name: Tolani Shobajo ‘Tolanibaj’
Occupation: Media Personality
Fun Fact: She loves to cook and she loves to dance, and she stated that she is focused on the goal of winning the money, which is not to say that she is not going to be bringing life to the party. In fact she claims to be the life of the party.
Name: Rebecca Nnegi Hampson
Fun Fact: Nnegi is such a beauty that most people identify her as beautiful only. So she is here on the show to prove to the world that she is more than just a pretty face. She is a former model and once ranked in the top five of the MBGN contest. She loves to travel.
Name: Aisha Umaru
Fun Fact: She has been in the beauty business for a while now, having ran her own skin care line. Her mission on the show is to never have a dull moment while in the house.
Name: Ezekiel Bright Osemudiame ‘Brighto’
Fun Fact: Nicknamed Brighto, this self proclaimed entertainer has an impressive resume under his belt. He has a degree in Marine Engineering from Arab Academy for science and Technology and, Maritime Transport in Alexandria, Egypt, while having also dabbled in the Aviation field.
Name: Ngozi Erica Nlewedim
Fun Fact: Erica is a truly gorgeous woman to behold, and it only gets better knowing that she graduated from film school in London, already has a short movie credit, and a role in a movie, in her portfolio. She promised to bring a lot of drama to the house, and being an actress that she is, she just might be able to pull it off.
Name: Tochukwu Okechukwu ‘Tochi’
Fun Fact: It’s difficult to see the correlation between rap artist and real estate agent, but Tochi has found a way to strike a balance between the two careers, seeing as he has a hand in both.
Name: Victoria Adeyele ‘Vee’
Fun Fact: It would be easy for anyone to be fooled by this beauty’s accent, but make no mistakes about it, Vee insists that she is a typical Nigerian lady. She is a singer who resided in the UK, up until last year when she moved to Nigeria to focus on her career.
Name: Nelson Enwerem Prince
Fun Fact: This young son of monarch is a prince named Prince, no pun intended. While on stage with Ebuka, he disclosed that he is actually the son of a king and has his hands in a number of industries, from the fashion industry to the business of interior decoration.
Name: Praise Nelson
Occupation: Fitness and Personal Trainer
Fun Fact: Good looking and talented, Praise is a dance instructor who once took third place in the K-Pop world festival dance competition in South Korea five years ago. He is currently a dance instructor, a fitness personal trainer and a Latin ballroom expert.
Name: Lucy Essien
Occupation: Business woman
Fun Fact: This business savvy lady, once ran a grilling business. She seems to be on the quiet side, claiming that she loves her space, but who knows, maybe being in the house will change all that. She is also proud of the fact that she doesn’t have an illegitimate child.
Name: Kate Jones
Fun Fact: This ambitious lady described her deep displeasure for brokenness. She dreams of one day owning the biggest luxury fashion brand in the world all while handling the responsibility of taking care of her daughter.
