MAVIN boss, Don Jazzy has revealed the source of the word ‘Eminado’, the title of Tiwa Savage’s hit track.
He says the title was arbitrarily chosen and apologised to those who assumed the word is rooted in any pre-existing language. The word is generally believed to mean ‘goodluck charm’.
“Yes I made the word up. and gave it a meaning. just like people made up all the words we use today,” the prolific producer revealed.

“So far I ve gotten mails from 3 families that have named their babies “Eminado” and it makes me soooo happy. at least i have done something. Eminado means “GoodLuck Charm”. Yes I made the word up. and gave it a meaning. just like people made up all the words we use today. I could have used any sweet word in place of Eminado. Jollof rice, lover girl, lol etc but i chose to create mine. and i am proud of it. At the end of the day. the song sweet. if e dey pain u say i dey make up words. ermmmmm SORRY no vex lol.
